The Health Lab Platform is not invoicing software certified by the Portuguese tax authority, nor electronic prescription software. Keep using your invoicing tool; integration is on the roadmap. We would rather tell you now than at the first demo.

Born from more than a decade of clinical practice.
The Health Lab Platform was born from a reality observed over more than a decade of clinical practice: scattered health information, forgotten exams, difficulty following progress and little connection between what happens inside and outside the consulting room.
It was from these real problems that we started thinking about a different way of organising and following health, over time and centred on the person.
Clinical practice remains part of the process. Those developing the concept continue to see people, so that decisions about the platform are tested against what happens in a real appointment.

About the platform
When will the Health Lab Platform launch?
The launch is planned for 2027. Founding members will be contacted before the launch with information about access to the platform and the next steps.
What does it mean to be a founding member?
Being a founding member means expressing interest in being among the first users of the Health Lab Platform and having access to the special launch conditions for your type of use. Signing up at this stage does not create an account or involve any payment.
Is the platform for everyone?
The Health Lab Platform is designed for people who want to bring together and follow their health information over time, and for health professionals looking for a more continuous way of following their practice and the people they see.
Which health professionals can use the platform?
The platform is being designed for different areas of health, from conventional medicine to non-conventional therapies, with a structure that adapts to different ways of following people.
Who can see my data?
Your information stays under your control. You decide what information you share and with which health professionals.
Can I withdraw a professional's access?
Yes. You can withdraw access previously granted to a professional.
Can I export my data or delete my account?
Yes. You can export your data at any time, from your Profile. Account deletion is requested from Health Lab and carried out by us, with all associated data.
Does the platform make diagnoses or recommend treatments?
No. The platform organises and presents health information. Clinical interpretation, diagnosis and treatment decisions always belong to health professionals.
For health professionals
Do I have to leave my current system?
No. Many professionals keep the invoicing software they already use and move their clinical records to Health Lab. We do not force you to migrate everything at once.
What about my current patients' data?
You can admit your patients and bring their history in manually, or ask for help with migration. We talk to you: the first 50 are followed one by one.
Does this comply with the GDPR?
Health data is a special category and requires explicit consent. The platform was designed on that principle: the patient authorises each access, item by item, and can revoke it.
What if Health Lab closes?
You can export your records and history at any time. You will never be held hostage; that would contradict what the platform exists to solve.
Do my patients have to pay?
Each patient has 1 year of the platform included on your account. After that year, the normal platform price applies, so it is worth telling them from the start.
