Sustainable businesses are built by healthy people.
People's health affects how they work, collaborate and live. That is why, at Health Lab, we look at health in companies starting from the people who build them every day.
We develop programmes that combine individual assessment and intervention with an aggregated view of each organisation's needs, helping to care for people's health and create healthier, more sustainable workplaces.
Understand what makes sense for your team.
Every organisation has different people, contexts and needs. That is why we do not work from a fixed programme.
We start by understanding the company's reality and, from there, define an approach that can combine assessment, individual follow-up, health education and aggregated analysis.
- 01Assessment
Understand needs and identify priority areas.
- 02Intervention
Individual follow-up and initiatives adapted to the team's reality.
- 03Information
An aggregated view that helps the company better understand the health needs of its people.
- 04Continuity
Follow progress and adjust the intervention over time.
From the person to the organisation.
Health at work is not a matter of one-off initiatives. To create impact, it is necessary to understand individual needs and, at the same time, identify patterns that can help the organisation make better decisions.
- 01Individual assessment
Each person is assessed according to their needs, context and goals.
- 02Personalised intervention
Follow-up is defined from the assessment, rather than following the same protocol for everyone.
- 03Aggregated analysis
Relevant information can be analysed in aggregate, making it possible to identify trends and needs across the company's people.
- 04Health strategy
Data and experience on the ground help guide future initiatives and build a more consistent approach to health.
Different needs. One integrated approach.
Each programme is defined according to the organisation's context, needs and goals.
- 01Individual assessment
Assessment of each person's health needs.
- 02Osteopathy and physiotherapy
Individual intervention when clinically indicated.
- 03Movement and exercise
Strategies to improve physical capacity, movement and autonomy.
- 04Health education
Sessions and content on topics relevant to each population.
- 05Questionnaires and follow-up
Tools to understand needs and follow progress.
- 06Aggregated analysis
Information that helps identify trends and priorities at the organisation level.
Health designed for people. Structured for organisations.
Health Lab's approach combines clinical practice with experience in implementing and coordinating health programmes in corporate settings.
That experience allows us to work at the two levels we consider essential: following each person individually and turning aggregated information into useful knowledge for the organisation.
- 01Clinical experience
Intervention delivered by qualified health professionals.
- 02Experience in corporate settings
Knowledge of the demands and complexity of implementing health programmes in organisations.
- 03Integrated approach
Health, movement, prevention and follow-up designed as parts of the same process.
Programmes are coordinated by João Santos, osteopath and clinical director of Health Lab, who was part of the team that started the Jerónimo Martins Wellbeing project, where he coordinated multidisciplinary health teams.
Each person's health remains private.
Individual clinical information belongs to the relationship between the person and the health professional.
The company receives only aggregated, anonymised information, with no way of identifying the employee and no access to each person's individual clinical content.
What you need to know.
Which companies can work with Health Lab?
Programmes can be adapted to organisations of different sizes and needs. The starting point is understanding the company's context and what kind of follow-up makes sense.
Are programmes delivered on the company's premises?
How a programme is delivered is defined according to the programme and the reality of each organisation, and may combine different models of follow-up.
Can you create a programme adapted to our team's needs?
Yes. We do not work from a single programme. The approach is defined according to the needs identified, the context and the organisation's goals.
What information does the company receive?
Only aggregated, anonymised information, relevant to understanding trends, needs and the programme's progress. It does not allow identifying an employee and includes no individual clinical content.
Is employees' clinical data shared with the company?
No. Individual clinical information belongs to the relationship between the person and the health professional and is not made available to the company.
How do we start?
We start with a conversation to understand the organisation, the needs identified and the goals. From there, we define the most suitable approach together.
